Splenda Margarita Mix

Splenda margarita mix – a lower sugar version of a margarita. Post Sponsored by Splenda.

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a good cocktail, myself included; but they can be quite high in sugar. One of my favourites is a margarita, so today I am sharing Splenda’s recipe for a lower sugar margarita mix.

Instead of the usual Triple Sec which gives a margarita it’s lovely hint of orange flavour but is a liqueur with a high sugar content; this recipe uses Splenda Granulated for sweetness, and orange extract for the orange flavour. This means that you can still enjoy a delicious margarita that is lower in sugar (and therefore calories), even if you are trying to cut down on sugar.

Splenda is so handy for swapping out for sugar in loads of recipes to help you cut down on your sugar intake. This margarita mix takes literally just five minutes to mix up so why not give it a try for Valentines Day today!
